Vanessa Yenson
Vanessa is a member of the consumer advocate group ConViCTioN. She is a cancer survivor (23 years in remission from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia, and first adult in Australia to receive Cord Blood as a Bone Marrow Transplant). Professionally, Vanessa is the RA – Writer for Cancer Symptom Trials at the University of Technology Sydney (one of the 14 cancer cooperative trials groups supported by Cancer Australia), where she assists clinical trial investigators in the writing of grants, protocols, and ethics submissions for their research to better manage cancer symptoms and improve the lives of those with and after cancer.
