Faiqa Miss Mudassar
I am a Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours Class I) graduate from The University of Sydney. Currently, I am a third year PhD student in The Translational Radiation Biology and Oncology Group at The Westmead Institute for Medical Research. My research focuses on investigating novel treatments to improve survival outcomes of the incurable paediatric brain tumour, Diffuse Midline Glioma (DMG). As part of my PhD, I am investigating ways to improve the radiosensitivity of DMG tumour cells by targeting mitochondrial metabolism and tumour hypoxia.
