Zoe Clarke
Growing up in Forbes in the Central West, Zoe has always had a passion for healthcare equity for those in rural NSW. After seeing family members and loved ones needing to travel to metropolitan centres to access specialist clinical services, Zoe wanted to help provide those services to Western NSW.
Completing a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Radiation Therapy) at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga, Zoe began her professional career in Orange at the Central West Cancer Care Centre before moving to Dubbo and being one of the foundational Radiation Therapist at the Western Cancer Centre Dubbo. The opening of the Western Cancer Centre in 2021 has allowed Zoe to help address the unmet need of Radiation Oncology clinical services that are underutilised in rural and regional Australia.
With a desire to provide new and emerging technologies to patients who are geographically isolated, Zoe hopes to help futureproof specialist Radiation Oncology clinical services and sustain a secure workforce to aid in equity of care that is close to home for the patients of Western NSW LHD.
