S M Zahid Hosen, a final year PhD researcher under the prestigious Scientia PhD scholarship and Professor Minoti Apte's supervision, is making remarkable advancements in the field of pancreatic cancer treatment. Hosen's trailblazing research focuses on addressing cancer progression and early metastasis by creating innovative therapies that target the vital communication pathway between dense stroma and tumour cells. Hosen has honed his skills in both in vitro and in vivo modelling, enabling him to examine stromal-tumour interactions and devise cutting-edge therapeutic strategies in translational pancreatic cancer research, including a noteworthy publication in Frontiers in Immunology (IF-8.7). In addition to his expertise in transcriptomics, proteomics, clinical data analysis, and structure-based drug design and discovery, Hosen has contributed to over 30 peer-reviewed papers, amassing more than 860+ citations.
